I recently received a package from Southern Naturals. I had ordered:

Champagne & Roses Soap
Peppermint Foot scrub
Homespun Sugar Body Butter
Roses Petals Body Butter
Oakmoss for him Soap
Pina Colada Tarts
Homespun Sugar GM Soap

Everything smelled DIVINE! The products are wrapped very, very nicely. The soaps, were wrapped very nicely in cello wrap with a really pretty label with the ingredients listed which is great! On one end was a label with the scent listed. I CANNOT WAIT to try the peppermint foot scrub. It smells awesome! I picked out the oakmoss soap for hubby and he said that he really liked the scent. He is a man of few words so that is about as good as it gets as far as reviews from him :0).

The Champagne and Roses soap and Rose Petals Body butter is for my mother-in-law and she loves them! I’m not a big fan of rose scented things myself but these really do smell nice. The body butter has a strong rose scent in the container but it is not overpowering and so I know that once it is applied, it will be just right. I LOVE the champagne and roses soap. I wish I had gotten one for myself! It has more champagne scent than rose in my opinion. Very nice. I used my Homespun Sugar soap and body butter and it smells like….. SUGAR! Sort of a butterscotch scent even but just slightly. It’s hard to describe except… YUMMY! It is a perfect fall scent because it makes you think of cookies baking in a warm oven and all the wonderful baked goods you get to enjoy at this time of year. The body butter, I used last night on some rough patches on my legs. When I got up this morning, they feel so much better already. This butter has beeswax in it and so it applies like a balm. But is not greasy and rubs in really well.

I am popping in a Pina Colada tart and will report back on how well it does in about 30 minutes when my tealight has had time to melt it.

Ok here’s an update on a couple things. This review has been pending a few days for this update.

Peppermint Foot Scrub: Fabulous!
It has just the right amount of peppermint fragrance. The pumice in it is very fine. I personally would like a little bit coarser pumice but I have really dry feet this time of year so I tend to like a little more exfoliation but for most, I would say it is absolutely perfect because it is very gentle and can be used daily. One thing that I really, really liked is that it actually lathers up. Some foot scrubs are scrubby but don’t feel like they clean you. This one does exactly what it claims!

Pina Colada Tarts: I melted one in my tealight tart warmer and when I walked by… OH MY! It smelled really good. I had the bag with the rest of the tarts sitting on a shelf in my bathroom and could smell them when I walked in the room. The tart seems to be lasting a good long time in the warmer too. I used up one tealight and can’t tell that the tart has shrunk or lost fragrance.
Oh and I forgot! Jen also sent me a sample of her Hawaiian Plumeria lotion. Oh Lordy is it fabulous! I can’t believe I forgot to mention it. I am by nature a giving, sharing person but that lotion is MINE and I’m not sharing! :0)
