Choosing healthy on the go snacks all four of my children will actually enjoy often proves to be difficult. They don’t always like the same things and my older daughters are extremely picky eaters these days while my son loves just about anything. Then there is the baby who is turning one year old. It is hard to find one thing for all of them. For our Hot Diggity Dog 1st Birthday event, Peter Rabbit Organics sent their three varieties of pureed fruit snacks for us to try.
- Strawberry and Banana
- Mango, Banana & Orange
- Apple and Grape
These snacks are for ages 6 months and up. They have a slightly smoother than applesauce consistency. You do not need a spoon. They can be eaten directly from the pouch. I wasn’t sure if all four were going to like it but to my delight they did! All four of my picky eaters liked the taste, consistency and the way it is dispensed. The pouch is wonderful! It has a lid that can be placed back on and refrigerated to save for later so there’s no waste!
And you know, as a good mommy, I had to taste it before giving it to my children. YUMMY! I like it too! If you like applesauce, you will most likely like the Peter Rabbit Organics fruit snacks. They are fruity and refreshing and I found them very delicious. And they were perfect for our soon to be one year old. The opening is sort of like a straw and she just sucked the fruit right out!
Prior to opening, you do NOT have to refrigerate them so they are absolutely perfect for traveling in the car, school lunches, diaper bag, etc. They are made of 100% fruit that is sourced from organic ingredients certified by the USDA, and whenever possible they use local suppliers in Oregon.

Peter Rabbit Organics fruit pouches have become a favorite on-the-go snack for my children, ever since I stumbled upon them at Starbucks. I don’t always have them on hand, so another favorite snack is soaked and dehydrated almonds, cheese sticks, and gluten free pretzels
My favorite “On-the-go” snack is Nature Valley Roasted Cashew Granola Nut Clusters
*Thanks* for the giveaway!
We do either fruit pouches like these or the applesauce pouches (the brand name is escaping me right now) and my daughter loves them.
