Hana Professional Flat Iron Review and Giveaway

I have been using the best flat iron. It is from Misikko and it is the Hana Professional Pink Edition 1″ Flat Iron. When I was a little girl I had the poker straight, not a wave what-so-ever type of hair. I kid you not, when trying to perm my hair, the hairdresser piggy backed the rollers, used TWO perm solutions and then prayed for the slightest bit of wave. I ended up with a frizzy mess. haha BUT since I’ve had children, my hair now has the oddest texture and the slightest bit of natural body. That wouldn’t be so bad but it is a little frizzy and not so smooth looking. So now I want it straight like it used to be but never seem to get it just right. Until now.

I was  beyond thrilled to receive the Hana Flat Iron! I washed my hair, dried it, then applied the protective Shine Shield which helps protect your hair from the intense heat. I immediately noticed a difference just from the Shine Shield. My hair was already beginning to look shiny and smooth. Then I started ironing my hair one section at a time. When I was finished I was left with gorgeous, smooth, straight hair. It is shiny and looks very healthy. And it is so soft and manageable! I can run my fingers through it and it is still straight and perfect. And the ceramic plates of the flat iron do not damage my hair like other styling products. It literally just slides right through my hair. So easy. (My face is not dirty in the first photo, it is the watermark on the image :D )

The packaging is outstanding too! I received a box filled with goodies including a tin to store my flat iron in, a pink pouch for travel that has two compartments. I was able to place the flat iron in one side and the silicon mat (also included) in the other side. When I travel I can use my flat iron and place it on the mat without worry of damaging any surfaces from the heat. It also included a heat proof pouch for storing it when on the go and a bottle of Shine Shield.

Misikko sells a wide variety of flat irons and professional hair dryers as well as curling irons and other hair care products. I would love to try the  T3 Tourmaline Evolution Dryer and the Corioliss Ceramic Wand for when I need those cute bouncy curls!

My biggest tip is really for thick, coarse, dry hair, which I happen to have… When I condition, I leave it on till I’m completely done in the shower and when I rinse, I don’t rinse all the way, leaving just a bit of conditioner.

My biggest tip is to use wash out conditioner, and style your hair as soon as you get out of the shower. It’s the hardest thing to do if you have toddlers and don’t have much time, but your hair looks so much better. :)

My best hair tip is to NOT wash your hair every day! It will be much healthier and more manageable.

Main entry: My best hair care tip is a new product I found and absolutely LUV it! It’s called It’s a 10 Miracle spray, and just like the name, it is a miracle. It shines, de-frizzes, conditions, can be used as flat-iron/thermal spray, and much more. Its great! Just spray a small amount on your hair, and i don’t even use hair spray or anything else when i use this.

My biggest hair styling tip is – I have long hair and the ends dry out quick so sometimes I only was the top of my hair with shampoo to keep it from getting greasy but keeps my ends from drying out from washing too much.

My biggest hair care tip comes from the use of satin pillowcases. They reduce hair breakage and help to prevent split ends. I have observed a TREMENDOUS difference in my hair, since using the satin pillowcases! My hair is so much more shinier and healthier!
