Do you buy birthday gifts for. . .

Do you buy a birthday gift (or Holiday gift) for your pet? With my daughter’s first birthday this month I began thinking about folks who have animal babies. Many people I know who can’t have children or just chose not to, do have pets they love just as much as a human child. And they get gifts just like we do!

Just imagine a cute dog carrier for little FiFi. Isn’t that just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? !!! You and your doggy will be in style cruising around with a darling pet carrier. And you can find one to go with every style of clothing and personality imaginable!

Or what about an awesome  designer dog collar for Brutus. He’ll be the talk of the town with his stylish neck bling. Of course you don’t have to wait for special occasions, you can spoil your beloved Fluffy-Wuffy any time of year!

I have to admit, back before I started having children, and in fact was convinced we couldn’t, I had a very spoiled, very pampered white fluffy kitten named Daisy. This cat was so fluffy and tiny you could NOT determine it’s gender but it was extremely feminine looking and acting so we went with Daisy! Daisy had cute little hair bows in her fur and her own little “diaper” bag that I carried with us where ever we went with necessities for my “baby”. (toys, cat food, etc.) We had an older, equally spoiled cat, Merlin, who had been neutered so we decided to have Miss Daisy spayed. When I went to pick Daisy up, the vet informed me that they were unable to spay “her” but did successfully neuter HIM!!!! Talk about embarrassing! But they agreed that he was just too fluffy to tell so it was an honest and easy mistake. Daisy was a doozy who then became Desi. :D Poor kitty

So anyway, I wanted to feature a couple things for other types of babies who may also be turning one this year! I’m curious, do you pamper your pets and spoil them rotten? Leave me comments and tell me all about it!

I have a dog Named BONO, I always buy gifts every year. Last time I bought was a special collar that takes away fleas and bad odor, though its expensive I find it useful and special for my little dog.

Once you know what to look for it’s time to start sampling foods. There are lots of companies that offer free samples, so if you are interested in particular brands, give the company a call and usually they are glad to send out samples to a new potential customer.

I was even more surprised to find that some of the so called quality foods that you would pay a hefty price for in the discount stores are actually not what they make themselves out to be! That’s what those advertising dollars are paying for. Which leads me to my first big tip, throwing money at a high priced dog food does not make it a best quality dog food.
