Wilton Dimensions® Giant Cupcake Pan Review (Birthday Sponsor)

I was SO excited when I learned that Wilton would be sponsoring our daughters first birthday event and sending us the Dimensions® Giant Cupcake Pan. This is the exact cake I wanted to make for her birthday but had not heard great reviews about some of the other types of pans, specifically the silicone, that make this size cake. I had heard awesome reviews of the Dimension® Giant Cupcake Pan though and was extremely ready to try it.

Following some tips I found in reviews on Amazon, I gave the pan a very light coating of Bakers Joy spray, filled the larger portion with batter and cooked it for 15 minutes before filling the smaller portion with batter and baking the remainder of recommended time. The cake came out PERFECTLY! I let it cool and trimmed the two sides slightly to make them good and flat. Then I added a small amount of frosting on top of the bottom layer to help the top layer stay on better. lastly I added the top layer, frosted and decorated it and it was ready to eat! I wanted this cake to be just for the birthday girl. So she got all the glory of this MONDO cake and did not have to share a bite. Although I did catch my new brother-in-law sneaking a little bite. I think it just looked too good and he couldn’t resist. The cake was a huge hit and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her giant cupcake until she got tired and tossed the rest the floor! HAHA

Wilton cake pans are amazing and bake cakes to perfection. I will never use another brand to bake my cakes.
