Goodie Bags by Pump It Up.

Treat bags are usually essential at a child’s birthday party. They add an element of surprise and keep the gift giving going by sending each child home with a memento from the day. But planning these goody bags is not always as easy a task as one might think.  Not all parents are keen on candy so you don’t want to just load them up with that and finding toys appropriate for both boys and girls isn’t always either either. We were sent the nicest Goodie Bag by Pump It Up, the country’s premiere hassle-free children’s birthday party place. The bags will be available at all locations beginning August 2^nd and each bag comes with Sidewalk Chalk, pair of Thunder Sticks and a Roto Launcher and either an inflatable ball or Disc Shooter (we received the Disc Shooter) based on location. My kids loved playing with all of the items especially the Thunder Sticks. All you do is inflate them like a balloon then smack them together. They each took turns running up and down the hallway banging them together and enjoying the sound they made.

The sidewalk chalk is a great childhood favorite. The kids had a great time decorating our front porch and creating artwork up and down the driveway. I remember when I was little I could sit for hours drawing all sorts of designs and scribbling on the front walk or on my chalk board. This is always a favorite item to include.

The Disc Shooters were also great. A room full of rowdy kids shooting disc shooters might be a little much, so these might be good to hand out right before everyone leaves! Now don’t get me wrong, I like them and had as much fun playing with them as my kids.  My problem is that I usually set the treat bags out in a pretty basket to decorate with and some of the guests grab them as they come in. So I’ve learned to put the treat bags up until the very end of the party, then hand them out as a take home gift. Perfect solution! Problem solved.
