I have been washing our colored laundry the last couple of weeks using the Robby Wash High Efficiency Laundry Ball by Oransi in place of my regular detergent. I was sent for review the fuchsia ball for lower temperatures and must say that is really works!

To use the Robby Wash, you just place it in the washing machine with your clothes just as you would regular laundry detergent. My clothes come out smelling fresh with the lightest and most pleasant scent. The ball holds these round pellets. (macro-molecule pellets), which can clean for up to 12 months. TWELVE MONTHS! This is equivalent to 1200+ ounces (75+ lbs) of washing powder. I can hardly fathom that, it is just so awesome. Plus you get refill packs and a stain stick so it really lasts and washes tons of laundry.
Look at some of the benefits:
- No phosphates or chlorine
- RoHS lead free directive certified
- Washes: 120 washes with pack (*use 2 balls with over-sized washing machines)
- Contents: fuchsia wash ball loaded with macro-molecule pellets, a stain stick, 3 extra packets of macro-molecule pellets
- Ultra high efficiency laundry solution – no need to add any laundry detergent
- Hypoallergenic and great choice as a baby laundry detergent cleaner
- Washer Temp: use in temperatures up to 86F
- 10 ounces of macromolecules are equivalent to more than 1200 ounces of powder detergent
- Reusable: ball can be used for 2-3 years
- Light fragrance for a feeling of freshness at the end of the wash cycle
- Safe to use with bleach however we recommend using our included stain stick for stain removal or a salt cleaner as this will not damage the fibers in your laundry like bleach can.
- Note: Do not place the washing ball in the dryer as this could damage the washing ball and reduce its effectiveness
How it works: The Robby Wash ball uses a unique and patented worldwide technology to clean your laundry even better than the powder laundry detergents it was independently tested against. Its activated macromolecules are gradually released through the wash, dissolving dried-in stains by generating ions which activate the water molecules. This increase in the pH enables the activated molecules to penetrate deep into the fabrics and attach themselves to the stains. As the motion of the drum agitates the clothes, the stains come away easily from the fabric and dissolve in the water. Of all the systems on the market, Robby Wash’s effectiveness is tested, proven and guaranteed.
The Robby Wash ball works in both top and front load washing machines and is available in Fuchsia for lower temp., colored items and Blue for higher temp items like whites. I REALLY like this laundry ball. It saves so much space. I don’t have to worry about my younger girls getting in to the box of laundry detergent, because the ball can fit on our shelves, unlike a large box of detergent. It is great for travel. If you’re going on vacation, just toss it in a bag and off you go!

My laundry tip is to keep separate hampers for whites and colors, then you won’t have to sort them when it’s laundry time.
I keep a spray bottle of detergent mixed with a little water to pretreat stains
agree with sorting, catch stains right away
My biggest fail is when I put the clothes and detergent in the washing machine and forget to turn it on.
TAKE CARE OF STAINS ASAP
take care of stains right away
My biggest laundry mishap was washing a tube of chap stick. It left grease staings on everything.
When my kids were small I learned to always check pockets before putting clothes in the washer. (I learned that the hard way, after washing some things that were never meant to be laundered.)
I biggest mishap in doing the laundry is putting something red in the whites by mistake and having Jim walk around pink tees!!
I’ve switched to a dryer bar and it’s wonderful…no fabric softener sheets all over the house.
i love the bounce bar in the dryer, it lasts for 3 months or more and i do not have to remember to put in a dryer sheet.
You don’t need as much detergent as you think. A couple teaspoons is MORE than enough!
My tip… teach the kids how to do their own laundry as early as possible.
Treat a new Stain with cold water ASAP

Everything I do is a laundry fail. More than once I’ve put a crayon or pen through the laundry. I could use all the help I can get.

i treat stains with shout and let them sit…and the tide stick works well for stains that you want to get off immediatly..
