The Vampire Diaries. DVD/Blu-Ray coming Aug. 31!

I admit it, I am a Vampire fan. More specifically, I am a fan of  The Vampire Diaries series. Set in highschool, which is much younger than I am, the series captured my attention from the very first episode. And left me “craving” more. I love it! Highschool aged or not I am admittedly hooked on the series.

The story is classic, two brothers after the heart of the same girl. The viewers are bound to have a favorite between the two. I have had moments when I bounced back and forth between the two.  But I have to say though that I finally made up my mind and DO have one who is my utmost favorite.

Damon!

Damon? NO WAY! No that he isn’t mysterious and vampire-loveable, but I ♥ Stefan all the way. I would take him home!  hehehe His dark brooding, bad boy look gives way to a heart of gold and gorgeous green eyes. He chooses to not feed on humans and only consume animal blood. Even though he realized he wasn’t truly in love with Elena’s dead-ringer (no pun intended) , Katherine, he does fall for Elena. I remember in the first episode, Stefan came to Elena’s house to check on her and the two stayed up all night just talking.  He had tons of books and a great knowledge of the Mystic Falls history and that is just so romantic to me.

Damon DOES feed on humans and could care less about sparing them. And while still quite easy on the eyes, just does not compare to Stefan. Elena belongs with Stefan for sure!
