In this day and age, almost every person on the planet has been affected by cancer in one form or another. My mother had cervical cancer, my grandmother and father-in-law have had skin cancers removed. Family and friends have lost the war on lung cancer and pancreatic cancer. I have friends who have battled breast cancer. It is terrifying and it is all around us.
