My favorite holiday tradition is putting up the Christmas tree. The kids are old enough now, that they do the decorating. They each get to pick out their own ornament each year, then they put everything on the tree. It always ends up looking more full on one side than the other, but that’s the best part!!!

When my children were young, Every year during the month of December I would take them to the Tree of Sharing and have them pick a name from the tree. Then I would take them shopping and they would pick out the gift for that person. My children enjoyed shopping, wrapping the gifts and returning them back to the Tree of Sharing. My Children are now all grown up with their own little ones, and I continue the tradition with my grandchildren. This tradition has taught my children and my grandchildren to give back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

My favorite holiday tradition is spending Christmas Eve with my family at my in-laws house, then looking at all the Christmas lights on the way home.
