Tassimo T20 Brewer Review. Holiday Gift Idea

For the past few days I have been enjoying the Tassimo T20 Brewer, designed by KRAFT Foods. This is not your ordinary coffeemaker. It uses special little pods called T Discs. Each T Disc has a barcode that is read by the Brewer, creating the perfect cup of… whatever you want! Seriously. It has the ability to create over 40 varieties of hot and cold beverages including cappuccinos, chai lattes, tea, coffee and more in under 60 seconds. The discs fit in the palm of your hand and are pre-filled.

I received the T20 in white along with a Color Accessory kit in Lime Green to change things up a bit and add a pop of color to my kitchen. You can also purchase the accessory kits in:

1. Strawberry Red
2. Hazlenut Brown
3. Mint Blue

The website also carries replacement parts, descaling powder, filters and mugs.

I received two varieties of coffee with my Brewer: Starbucks Cappuccino Primo and Gevalia Signature Blend. The coffees are delicious and I had a cup in less than 6o seconds. You literally just fill the tank on the back, place a cup on the stand, insert a disc, push the button and less than a minute later, enjoy a nice steamy beverage! I was curious about brewing other beverages besides coffee so I took a trip to our local Wal-Mart and picked up some Suchard Hot Chocolate specifically for Tassimo brewers. It is to die for! A little pricey at $6 for 8 discs but definitely worth it for a special mommy treat. It will definitely be my “Me Time” treat from now on!!!

The thing I like most is that I can have a mug of hot chocolate and Hubby can have a mug of his favorite coffee without wasting an entire pot or having to boil separate water. We can have what we want, when we want it and it doesn’t take forever to get it! NICE!

You can use the Auto feature to brew your cup according to the code but if you like your coffee stronger or weaker, you can stop the brew with less water (stronger) or hold it in to add more water for a weaker cup.
