Costume Discounters. Lady In Waiting Costume Review & Giveaway!

Halloween is right around the corner and many of us are already deciding on costumes. If you are like me, costumes are a big event in your household. Not just my children, but for my husband and me as well. I LOVE dressing up and my kids urge us to. (Don’t worry, we’re not embarrassing them) We have started hosting costume parties on or around Halloween so a great looking AFFORDABLE costume is a must.

I recently received the Plus Size Lady in Waiting Costume for review. The costume is beautiful. I do think it could be a little more loose fitting, being it is for plus sized gals. It is a tad snug for the size it is supposed to fit. Not overly tight, just a tad for my liking. But then again, I like loose fitting clothing too. It is made of a beautiful velvety fabric and trimmed in gold. It also includes a head piece that is worn like a head-band. The costume itself is very well made. The fabric is nice and holds up well. The gold ribbons on this particular costume are very fragile though so you’ll need to be very careful with those but the gown and hat are a good, sturdy construction. I’m very excited to wear this costume this fall during our party and trick-or-treat with the kids. It’s beautiful and perfect for my Medieval theme this year!!!

Discount Costumers has a ton of costumes for any theme you are looking for, be it Halloween or even the Easter Bunny! And not just plus sized, but regular sizes and accessories as well.  If you need a costume for any occasion they most likely have what you are looking for. And they are all very inexpensive. The Lady In Waiting costume is only $29.97 which is MUCH cheaper than the Plus Sized Costumes I found last fall. I couldn’t even touch the prices at our local store. I wanted a Vampire costume but they were ridiculously expensive. I ended up going with the only Vampire one I could find but it was a hunt and a half just to find it. And it was pricey and not exactly what I wanted. I had forgotten about Costume Discounters and really wish I hadn’t because I would have definitely bought my costume from them. And I’ll be getting my Hubby’s and my kids costumes from them this year.
