TLC’s Extreme Couponing. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet. But I’ve heard some controversy about one of the Couponer’s named J’amie and about hoarding. I really don’t know anything about the show or this controversy but I am curious and would like to get a conversation going with you all in the commens below.
I admit to being a novice coupon user. I honestly don’t know how to stack coupons and use all the different register rewards to get cash back, etc but I love, love, love a great deal when it comes along and I do use coupons at each visit to the store as well as share printable ones here on the site that I think might save you money. This whole idea of “Extreme Couponing” amazes me though. I want to learn more, I want to save more money. Although I can’t say I’d ever purchase 100 boxes of cereal or 50 tubes of deodorant, who knows??? I’d like to know how you all use coupons.
Also, I was sent a link to a site that explains a little bit about what the extreme side of couponing doesn’t show you. It takes A. LOT. OF. TIME. AND. PRACTICE. to learn how to do this. I do know that much.
Ok, talk to me people! Let me know your thoughts on the show and how you use coupons!

I am not an expert either. I love getting a good deal and seeing the number go from where it starts, its awesome. I have gotten a couple of freebies. I was sad to find out the here in Houston, Krogers will no longer be allowing us to double or triple coupons. I just watched the show last night and I even stayed up to catch the ones I had missed. The show was great. I learned that it does that time, planning, and teamwork sometimes. I will be watching the conversation to see what everyone else thinks.
Wow @Alba, I wonder why your Kroger is discontinuing the double and triple coupons?
I am going to have to watch this show!
