Crystal Light has been around for as long as I can remember and I have always enjoyed the flavor (I use Crystal Light Pure Fitness as well) but can’t tolerate Aspartame. Crystal Light® Pure is sweetened with Truvia™ and sugar and does not contain Aspartame. So I tried some of the favors and LOVE them! I can tolerate Truvia™ and haven’t had any problems with it.
Crystal Light® Pure is available is several flavors including: Grape, Strawberry Kiwi, Tropical Blend, Mixed Berry and Lemonade. I was able to sample the Mixed Berry, Strawberry Kiwi and Grape and all three flavors are fantastic! They pack a delicious fruity flavor punch. I wouldn’t describe the flavor as sour but it is definitely strong and a bit tart. Very refreshing! I tried to pick a favorite but it is a tough call between the Mixed Berry and Strawberry kiwi. I think the Mixed Berry wins though, it is so good.

With my ongoing weight loss efforts, I need something that I won’t tire of. I’m an avid water drinker but I do tend to crave flavor and the Crystal Light Pure adds just the right amount without all the caffeine and calories. So I can cut soda out and introduce this instead. I know some refrain from using sugar but I don’t. I admit it, I like sugar and if I deprive myself of everything I enjoy, I’ll never stick to my weight loss plan. And like I mentioned earlier, I can’t handle anything flavored with Aspartame, so the Truvia™ and sugar are a plus for me allowing me to still enjoy Crystal Light and the flavor it adds to my water without gaining extra weight. Another thing I notice is that adding the Crystal Light® Pure to my water still leaves me feeling light and refreshed unlike with sodas that tend to make me feel bogged down, if that makes any sense. Sodas just tend to make me feel…. sticky? I’m not really sure how to state that. :0) But these packets are not soda and they leave me feeling great after drinking water with them added.
Another benefit – NO ARTIFICIAL COLORS! My son has a problem with Red 40 dye. So if I want to give him a flavored treat, I can offer Crystal Light Pure and not worry about reactions from dye. I asked him how he liked it and he said he loved the flavor! Another plus! I’m not making any health claims or ads here (although I’ll gladly recommend Crystal Light), just stating that I like the Crystal Light® Pure and if you are looking for something new to drink, these might just be the trick for you too!
Since we use a water filter in our refrigerator dispenser and rarely purchase bottled water now, I also love the fact that all I have to do is stir one packet of Crystal Light Pure into 16 ounces (2 cups) of water and I am good! Or I can use a to go bottle and out the door I go. No fuss and no mess.
