If you live in the US, you’ve undoubtedly seen the commercials for Bioré Deep Cleaning Pore Strips. You know the ones? Where the model applies the strip to her nose/face, waits 10-15 minutes and removes it. She then looks at it from the side revealing all the yucky blackheads, dirt and grime it has removed. Well, I was sent a box to try myself and while the results are a little gross (click here if you want to see them – WARNING it’s yucky!), they are also totally cool!

Biore Pore Strip

Awww I look so pretty! :0)

I was cursed with fairly large pores and combination skin. The oily part is extremely oily and drives me nuts. I deal with annoying monthly, hormonal acne in one spot on my cheek. I deal with semi-sensitive, blotchy skin and I deal with blackheads on my nose. Hubby says he doesn’t notice them but I do and I hate them. I want them GONE! So I was super happy to try the Bioré Deep Cleaning Pore Strips. Like the model in the commercial I washed my face, wet my nose, applied the strip and waited for it to dry. Then I removed it, looked at it from the side and squealed with yucky delight at the gunk on the strip! I couldn’t believe it. It pulled that stuff right out of there and left my pores feeling clean and refreshed and it didn’t cause me to break out the next day like some facial products do. I’m a happy Crystal. Another one of my favorite products, one I purchased myself and use regularly is the Warming Anti-Blackhead Cream Cleanser. It warms when  it comes into contact with water on your face and feels unbelievable. It smells awesome and together with the strips it leaves my complexion nice and clear. I use it daily and the strips 1 – 2 times per week if I need a little cleaning boost.

The ultra deep formula amps up your strip with tingling ingredients like tea tree oil, menthol and witch hazel. In just one use, these strips instantly get rid of pore-clogging build-up and even the most stubborn blackheads. Regular use can help make pores appear smaller.

  • Oil-free
  • If you suffer from blackheads, you should really try these Bioré Deep Cleaning Pore Strips. And let me know what you think about them! They are available at stores like Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart and drug stores like Wal-Greens and Rite Aid, etc. Prices vary between $5 – $12 depending on size/count.
