Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio Review + Giveaway!

My seven year old daughter and I just finished reviewing THE CUTEST jewelry maker! It is called the Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio and it couldn’t be any easier to use. You use the Snap Maker to cover metal/plastic snaps with round fabric pieces. Then you just place the covered snaps onto the included ring or bracelet, necklaces, key rings, pony tail holders, hair barrettes, head bands, belts, etc. You can see that the possibilities are completely endless.

The kit comes with everything you need to complete two rings, a bracelet and a necklace plus several snaps and fabric rounds to make extras. The completed snaps are completely interchangeable so if you make a yellow rings today but what that same yellow snap on a hair barrette tomorrow all you have to do is switch it out!

The Snap Fashion Jewelry Studio instructions was super easy to follow too. There is a book that shows you step-by-step how to use the Snap Maker. (Instructions and photos below.)

1. Place fabric round on Snap Maker right-side down.
2. Place metal dome over fabric, round side down.
3. Lower arm over dome and fabric inserting the “finger” into the dome. When you life the arm, the dome will have pushed the fabric down leaving a fabric ridge around it.
4. Tuck extra fabric into center of dome.
5. Place a plastic back onto the “finger” of the Snap Maker.
6. Lower arm again and press until you hear a click.
7. Push red button on the side to release your newly covered snap.
8. Decorate your items! If you want, you can add any of the included birthstone gems or other items found around your house to your snap. (IE: Buttons, silk flowers, small stones, etc.)

There is a removable template on the back so you can cut your own fabric circles:

The book has several ideas for creating different items. Two of my favorites show how to make earrings, hair pins and a key chain or cell phone charm.

My daughter and I had so much fun making jewelry and then having a mini fashion show to show it all off. I can’t wait to make more with her! We already have ideas in mind for fabric we want to purchase and hair accessories and jewelry to match our dress up clothes. I can’t wait!!!!
