ScareMeNots Review and Giveaway!

My four year old daughter is going through that stage where she is scared of her room at night. She shares a room with her older sister but so far, that hasn’t been enough to curb the fright. No matter what her dad and I said seemed to calm her fears. Then she met Courageous Carrie.

At first I was skeptical and figured this would be another product that ended up in the closet never to be seen again. I’ve tried the “Monster Sprays” with no luck so I wasn’t sure how a plush toy would squelch the “monsters under the bed” that Sis was dealing with. BUT IT DID! Sis is sleeping in her bed and is not yelling for me or her daddy in the middle of the night. We finally seems to be getting a full nights rest.

ScareMeNots are unique VERY soft, plush ‘monsters’ that can be hung from a door knob, bed rail or anywhere in your childs room that he/she needs a little “extra protection” They have velcro so you can easily attach and remove them without damaging any surfaces.

Each ScareMeNot monster is a good monster with a special power that keeps the bad monsters at bay. Courageous Carrie has the ability to smell like any flower she wants. Wherever she hiccups, flowers blossom on her head and fill the room with intoxicating scents. And we all know that monsters don’t like to smell good!

They come in two sizes and the full size monsters are HUGE. I haven’t seen the travel size personally, but based on the measurements, it seems like a really great size for taking on the road or for sleepovers.

Sis told me that she “Loves her Carrie very much” and she is “so happy to have her”. She grabbed her from me the second I opened the box and I had a really hard time getting Courageous Carrie alone for extra pictures! During the day, my daughter carries Carrie around with her. Our nighttime routine varies with what she needs. Sometimes we attach Carrie to the bed or doorknob and other times she cuddles her until she falls asleep. Either way, it is working and for that I am extremely grateful! And I have to admit… they are SO cuddly, I want one for myself!!!!
