Space Bags are a great way to store winter coats and sweaters, bedding, etc. They now come in a Lavender scent and I had the wonderful opportunity to test some out. I received one each of the Jumbo and XL space saving bags. They are the largest bags I have ever seen and they smell delightful!
- Extra-Large – Holds up to one queen-size comforter and two standard-size pillows
- Jumbo – Holds up to two comforters and four standard-size pillows
All Space Bag products are airtight, waterproof and reusable. They also protect against bugs, moths, dirt, mildew and odors.
My wedding dress has been in need of proper storing for the last 14 years. I have never been able to afford to have it done professionally so I decided since it had been out of storage this long, I’d just preserve it myself and see how it goes. I had some of the Dryel in-dryer steam cleaning bags so I cleaned my dress with that first. Then, I used the XL Space Bag and folded my dress and veil inside. I attached my vacuum hose, sucked out the air and VOILA! It was ready to place inside my wooden trunk. I checked it a few weeks later and it was immediately restored and had just the lightest lavender scent. It didn’t smell like an old dusty wooden chest. So I decided then and there to reseal it and store it for the long haul in these great Lavender scented Space Bags.
I used the Jumbo bag to store our winter bedding. My comfy flannel sheets, our heavier comforter and a couple throw pillows I’m no longer using on my bed. I was even able to place our winter coats in one end of the bag and store those as well. These bags are HUGE! I love that I can place the bag on the shelf in my closet and still have room for other things. And the coats are out of the way for summer things but not in a box in the garage where they risk becoming dust, moldy, mildewed or mouse bedding. That thought is disgusting! Now, there is room for them in the closet.
There’s are so many varities Space Bags available. I’m excited to check out the To Go Bags to use on vacation and the Hanging Bags. I may transfer our coats to those and add more bedding to the Jumbo bags. The storage possibilities are endless with these bags. They are amazing!

My biggest storage issue is that we have no storage lol. We live in an apt and storage is virtually non-existent! These would be great for comforters or winter clothing! Thanks!
