I have a confession to make. Not only to you but to myself. After all the weightloss reviews and goals last year, I am still overweight. After having a baby in 2009 by C-Section, then 2 miscarriages back-to-back (Sept. 2010 and Feb. 2011) I sank into a depression like no other and gave up on the weight loss effort (and pretty much everything else), all the while saying I was ready to lose the weight. In other words, I lied to myself for months on end. I became very good at hiding my feelings and keeping that fake smile on my face. I didn’t realize this until a few weeks ago when I woke up and just felt disgusting in my own skin. I’m overweight by about 70 pounds or more. I’m flabby. I’m tired. I’m depressed. I feel like crap, (excuse the bluntness) and I’m ready to get the weight off, for good!

This is a very hard thing for me to admit out loud. But I’m tired of feeling like this. I’m tired of not being able to play with my kids without being out of breath in a matter of minutes. I’m tired of not feeling sexy and looking good for myself and my husband. I’m tired of not looking good in my clothes because they are too tight. I’m just… tired.

I. AM. DONE! I am done feeling this way and I am READY to start a new lifestyle! This is not a diet. This is a new way of eating, a new way of living and boy, am I ready! I am ready to get my “Mama Mojo” back!!!!

I prayed for the last few weeks, for a way to get motivated. I prayed for God to show me a new way, the correct way to get my life back in order and get healthy, thin and fit. And I truly believe this is His answer for me. It came to me exactly when I need it! And I hope it is for you as well if you are struggling.
