I’ve participated in this myself and it is a legit and great way to receive a FREE pair of prescription glasses. You do need to pay shipping but that only runs around $10 – $15. You can’t get prescription glasses anywhere else for that price! They are wonderful, high quality and include both frames and standard prescription lenses. If you want specialties like tinting, anti-glare, etc. you will need to pay that extra but even with that, it is a great deal! Visit Coastal Contacts today or tomorrow and get registered and select our a few pairs of frames that you think you;ll like (in case your favorite is sold out). Then on Friday, log in to your account a few minutes early and get your cart ready because these things go really fast and the site will be extra slow!

Friday, June 10, 2011 starting at 9am EDT, Coastal Contacts is giving away 10,000 free pairs of complete eyeglasses (lens + frames) to Facebook fans of the brand. The giveaway is applicable to first-time participants in the US.

Here’s how it works:

1. Visit their Facebook Page and click on the ‘Free Glasses!!’ tab on the left side of the page.
2. Click the “like” button to reveal the coupon code or if you’ve already “liked” them the code will be displayed when you click on the tab.
3. Visit the Coastal Contacts website and select a pair of glasses (they suggest picking out 3-5 pairs ahead of time).
4. Starting on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 9am EDT, place your order and enter the coupon code at checkout to get your free pair of glasses.
