My printer goes through a ton of ink. Let me put a little more emphasis on that so you’ll full understand. Ahem, my printer goes through a TON of ink! From coupons and candy bar and paint can wrappers to greeting cards, photos, calendars and invoice receipts, my printer prints it all. IT is busy year round, all day. I print, print and print some more. Ink can get really costly for an ink jet printer that is used that much. But I wouldn’t trade my printer for anything in the world. I love it.
I was sent for review a couple replacement ink cartridges from a great site called Castle Ink. This site is fantastic because I can purchase my ink for a fraction of the cost. It actually costs me less there than at Walmart! At castle Ink, the cartridges I use, range between $14.95 and $22.95. At our Walmart, the run between $18 – $35. So you can see the savings. Now, you’re probably wondering how this saves me money when I have to pay shipping, right? Well, it saves me in two ways. 1.) It is a far piece for us to drive to the nearest store to buy ink so unless I am already heading to the store to do grocery shopping, it is out of my way and time to go just for ink. 2.) Gas is HIGH right now! So anytime I don’t have to fill up the tank just for a few items, the better. Also, I usually purchase my ink cartridges 2 at a time (both color and black) and Castle Ink has specials on shipping. Right now, if you spend $39 or more, you get free shipping. So that saves me more money right there.
They also offer a 100% guarantee if I am not completely satisfied and I get a full refund. That is plus in my book. But I certainly didn’t need it because the ink cartridges work perfectly. They are the exact type/size I use and print perfectly. No problems installing, no problems printing, etc.
There is a super handy search on the site where I can input my printer brand and model to find the ink I need OR if I already know the cartridge numbers I can search for them directly. I found the cartridges I was looking for in just a matter of seconds.
You can find ink/toner for:
- Apple
- Brother
- Canon
- Dell
- Epson
- HP
- IBM
- Kodak
- Lexmark
- Sharp
- Xerox
So you can see, they have ink and laser toner for just about everyone.

And if that didn’t make me love them enough already, I am happy to say that astle Ink Cartridges has a partnership with Recycle For Life, a recycling program for empty ink cartridges and laser toner. If you have empty cartridges, you can send them to Recycle For Life in exchange for cash, or a donation to the charity of your choice. AWESOME!
Disclosure: I received free ink cartridges to facilitate this review. No monetary compensation was received. All opinions expressed are strictly my own.
