Most of us have probably heard of Emergen-C, the vitamin drink mix. I have friends who swear by it winter year to help boost their immune system. Now, there is a version specifically for kids called Emergen-C Kidz.
It is recommended for children 4 – 13 twice daily. All you do is mix a packet in 4 – 6 ounces of water and drink it up!
We were able to try the three kids flavors of grape, orange and fruit punch. I honestly didn’t think my kids would like it. They are uber picky. I mean, seriously. Super duper picky about just about everything. So, I let them choose the flavor they wanted to try, mixed them all up and then we did our taste test at the same time. They LOVED it! True story!
Because Emergen-C Kidz is for ages 4 – 13, only my 3 older children tried it. Two of them tried the Fruit Punch flavor, one tried the Grape and I tried the orange along with them. That orange flavor is SOUR! It certainly made me pucker so I suggest adding a little extra water if you like a milder flavor. The kids really like the flavors. And that makes me happy because the girls have started a phase where they won’t eat anything I fix. They are SO picky right now. I hope they grow out of that phase like my son did but until they do, I’m happy to know there is a product they like, that is good for them, that I can give them up to twice daily to help keep them healthy. I will definitely continue to purchase Emergen-C Kids for them and regular Emergen-C for the grown-ups. (Hubby and myself)
For every box sold, Emergen-C will donate 25 cents to Vitamin Angels, helping provide essential nutrients to one child for one year, helping reduce childhood mortality worldwide. And, parents can help by taking the My Emergen-C Kidz Pledge at Facebook.com/EmergenC. For every Pledge, Emergen-C will donate an additional 25 cents to Vitamin Angels to help save a life.
One lucky reader will win a 3 pack of each flavor! USA only please. Just fill out the Rafflecopter widget below to enter. Each entry method will tell you what steps to take. Then just click the green “I’m Done” button beside each. Giveaway ends Sept. 30, 2011

My hardest thing about being a parent is being a parent for the first time. Sometimes I wonder if im doing everything right!
Hardest is knowing when your child is not feeling good or not and what you should do!
