I recently tried a new sandwich at Arby’s and I want another one! Arby’s New Grand Turkey Club.
Arby’s is doing a complete re-haul of its design, from the addition of some new menu items to the logo to their website. The new logo, pictured above, still features the hat we all know but is more modern.
The new menu items are just one part of the Arby’s brand re-launch and new campaign. “Slicing Up the Truth About Freshness” celebrates Arby’s rich heritage in freshly slicing meat in their restaurants every day for nearly 50 years and highlights that this fact differentiates them from other sandwich shops that cannot make the same claim.
Specifically, the brand re-launch includes:
- National television, print and digital advertisements, created by Crispin Porter + Bogusky, featuring former NYC Police Detective Bo Dietl on a mission to expose the truth about fresh slicing.
- Updated, modernized logo that stays true to the iconic hat, but also communicates Arby’s pride in freshly slicing meat daily in each restaurant.
- Introduction of new menu items, including Turkey Roasters
- New tagline – “Slicing Up Freshness.”
- Complete website refresh at www.Arbys.com
The cutting-edge advertisements were brought to life with the help of director Larry Charles, who is best known for directing films such as Borat, Religulous, Brüno and The Dictator, as well as his writing work for Seinfeld. These new televisions spots mark Charles’ first endeavor into commercials.

Part of the new line of Turkey Roasters, the Grand Turkey Club is made with sliced roast turkey, melted Swiss cheese, pepper bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a toasted harvest wheat bun.
I recently tried the new Grand Turkey Club and it was SO delicious! Honestly, it has become my new favorite sandwich from Arby’s. The turkey was extremely moist and the bacon, mayo and tomato really brought the flavors out. The bun which is harvest wheat was very soft. I love wheat bread but sometimes it can be hard. That wasn’t the case with this bun. It was very fresh and easy to eat.
Not convinced by my description to try it out? Check out these photos I took of my sandwich!

See that bun? Toasted Harvest Wheat and it was extremely soft and yummy.

Pepper bacon, Swiss cheese, mayo, lettuce and tomato with moist, freshly sliced deli turkey. OMG my mouth is watering just thinking about it! It was seriously THAT GOOD! Hubby is bringing home supper tonight and I know what I’m getting!!!

You couldn’t see the tomato in my other shot but I wanted you to see that it is indeed there.

And, of course, we paired it with Arby’s yummy, crispy Curly Fries! It was a perfect combination!
Have you tried the new Grand Turkey Club at Arby’s? If so, what did you think?
Also, what do you think of the new logo and brand re-haul?
Disclosure: I received a complimentary Arby’s gift card so I could check out the new Grand Turkey Club. All opinions are my own and were not influenced in any way.
