What a weekend! Clay and I went to Gatlinburg weekend before last to celebrate his birthday. We only stayed 3 nights but I am worn out. We walked the Gatlinburg Strip all three days, tried all the free moonshine samples, did some shopping and ate at some delicious restaurants. We also visited The Island in Pigeon Forge. We had beautiful blue skies and sunshine. Even though the temperatures were in the 60’s and 70’s all weekend the sun beat down on us. We were hot and tired at the end of each day.
I wear glasses during the week but when we go on trips I wear my contacts. Since I don’t wear them often, my eyes get tired quickly. Combine that, being super exhausted and springtime allergies and I end up with some major puffiness around my eyes. This last week I decided to give Amara Organics Eye Gel a try to see how it helped with the puffiness and dark circles. I used it each morning before putting my makeup on and each evening after washing my face.
When I dabbed it beneath my eyes it began to feel warm. It didn’t burn or turn red or anything like that, it just felt like it was warming. Within a few minutes the warming feeling was gone and I did notice that the skin looked smoother and less puffy.
After using it all week I also noticed the the puffiness wasn’t there. The skin beneath my eyes looks smoother, tighter and brighter. I was surprised by how well it works. These photos have not been edited in any way other than resizing and added to the collage. No filters or anything else have been applied. You can see in the “after” photo on the right that the skin is definitely smoother looking along the outer edges. There’s still some puffiness but the wrinkly look on the edges is gone. WOO HOO HOO!!!!
