Spring Fever Spotlight – LeadingLady.com. Full Figured/Nursing Bras

I recently received the Molded Padded Seamless Wirefree Full Figure Bra in Wedgewood color. Now, I usually take my own photos for reviews but I didn’t really want to take a photo of myself in a bra so I just took a photo of the bra itself. Minus me.

The bra is made from 85% nylon and 15% spandex so it is really nice and stretchy. The fabric is silky and the bra is very comfortable. I usually wear an underwire bra so I wanted to try the wireless. If you are large busted and full figured, you will probably want to stick with the underwire. I didn’t get as much lift as I get with the underwire. But the bra did fit wonderfully and kept me in place, which is what you want from a good fitting bra. And speaking of fit, I ordered my regular size and it was perfect. Very true to size.

The straps stayed in place, the bra didn’t ride up and my “girls” were kept in control so I didn’t have to worry about them. The bra laid nicely underneath my clothing and didn’t poke out in odd spots like some bras can. To me, that is a great bra!

My #LuvCookies Winter Clothing Shoppertunity at #cbias

I hadn’t had the opportunity to purchase clothing from Cookie’s until recently. And I am so glad I was finally able to! I purchased a few tops for my oldest two daughters for winter. They even helped me pick them out, although they thought they were just getting to “window shop”. They will be Christmas gifts so the girls have NO idea they are actually getting a few of the tops they picked out. I’m suck a sneaky mommy! They were both in desperate need of some new clothes. They have had major growth spurts and have already outgrown their school clothes. I didn’t want to purchase pants online until I could see how the sizes compared to the clothes we buy offline.

I knew that they were having a scavenger hunt on their Facebook fan page, offering a code for 20% off, so I headed their first to try to find the code. And I was in luck! I found the code and managed to save 20% off my entire order. The prices were already low PLUS they were having a sale so I really scored a great deal on six tops!

My oldest daughter really loves clothes that have a layered look. She likes the clothes that stars like Selena Gomez wears so those were the ones that really caught her attention. She picked out several of the tops that match that style and the ones that weren’t in her size went into my Wishpot account for later. Cookie’s Kids uses Wishpot, an online Wishlist so I was able to add the items I wasn’t purchasing right away to that for later. I love that!

After looking at around 50 girls tops, Hubby and I settled on 6. Three for each of the older girls. Most of the ones my older daughter really loved weren’t available in her size because they had sold out with the great sale. The sizes, in my opinion, run a little small so I am going to go up a size in her clothes from now own. The t-shirt’s seem a little too form fitting. I’ll go back later and see if I can get the other items, but in the larger size though. I’m definitely going to be buying many of their clothes from Cookie’s. Even with shipping costs, I was able to find many of the styles they both love and save money.

You might remember a couple of months ago I did a review/giveaway for mybabyclothes.com. I love their clothes so much I agreed to do it again! Good Lad Pink Animal Trimmed Coat

The coat I received for review is the Good Lad Pink Animal Trimmed Coat. I chose this coat because it reminds me of the coats little girls wore in the old black and white films and films from the 50′s and 60′s. I’ve wanted a coat like that for my daughter for a long time. I first picked out a red coat that I absolutely fell in love with, but they didn’t have it in her size so I went with the pink. It is made of a nice, heavy fleece and is very warm. She is 2 and I usually buy her a 3T in clothing and then go up another size for coats and jackets to allow for bulkier clothing underneath. I chose a 4T in this coat and it fits perfectly. It is long and would be very pretty with dresses as a Sunday coat. But it could be worn for everyday use too. As soon as I opened it, she HAD to have it on and wouldn’t take it off either. She said she was a “beautiful princess” so I’d say it is safe to say, she loves it.

{EXPIRED} Sock Ons #Review and #Giveaway.Keep those little buggers on babys feet!

Keeping a little ones socks on can be a MAJOR pain in the rear. I know. I have four children. All with big feet. All who usually had one sock on and one sock off. Even to this day, my toddler daughter has one sock that will not stay on. Ever.

Sock Ons are recommended for children who are not yet walking but I wanted to put them to a real test with my daughter and see if they could accomplish the task of keeping that one pesky sock on. I’ll tell you how they worked, but first I want to tell you a little bit about them.

They are made from a nice, stretchy material made up of Nylon and Elastane. Their design is patent pending and fits like a glove over the sock. Not recommended for use with shoes. They come in sizes so you can find the right one for your child. They also come in a variety of colors and even a sneaker print!

Resembling something like a ‘sock jacket’, Sock Ons slip on over the sock and ‘locks’ it into place. The design lies in the fact that if the sock is pulled from the toes, the sock gets locked into the hole around the heel, thus preventing it from slipping off.

Ok, but do they WORK? You betcha! As I said, my daughter is a toddler who is walking. And her one pesky sock stayed on ALL DAY! Even when I had to remove her clothing for diaper changes, the sock stayed put. Even when she was up walking around, the sock stayed in place. She even laid in the floor and played with her feet while watching TV like itty bitty babies do. The socks stayed on! They didn’t budge.

And the Sock Ons didn’t pinch or hurt her feet. They weren’t tight. And hers were for size 0-6 months! And she has big feet! So I tried them on a friends little baby too and guess what. They still worked. No sock slippage. So, while we put them to the ultimate toddler test above an beyond their actual intended use, we also tested them properly on a baby. And they worked for both. These things ROCK!

My Baby Clothes Boutique Review and Giveaway!

I have found a site for THE CUTEST baby clothes and had the fabulous opportunity to review one of their darling outfits! I also get to offer one of you all a $25 gift card. How awesome is that?

My youngest daughter and I picked out the Bonnie Jean Black and White Floral Legging Set (currently out of stock). Now, let me tell you this funny story. She is a toddler but she is already a little Princess Diva. When I opened the package she ooh’d and ahh’d and gushed over how “pwetty” it all was. When I put her outfit on her, she literally twirled and whirled and squealed with delight. She promptly told her daddy that she is a “Pwincess” in a “Pwincess Dress”! I think it is safe to say she LOVES her outfit. And so do I. It is beautiful and fits so well.

Her outfit fits perfectly with a little bit of room to grow. It isn’t made of some flimsy material either. The fabric on the top is really thick/heavyweight so it can be worn all fall/winter with a long sleeve shirt underneath. It has elastic at the bottom that creates a bubble-cut hem and it has a bright pink daisy embellishment at the left shoulder. It is just so pretty! And it is exactly as pictured, only better. I am thrilled with this outfit and can’t wait to order more clothes from My Baby Boutique! There are some shoes I’ve got my eye on!!!
