Would you hire an advertising agency for your online biz?

I have a marketing question for you. Have or would you consider hiring an advertising agency for your online business/website? As bloggers and product reviewers, we often work directly with PR firms, advertising agencies and marketing specialists. Some even have degrees themselves or, like myself, work in work at home website marketing. But how do we get our own business “out there”?

As bloggers, we rely heavily on word of mouth marketing. But what happens when that is no longer enough and readers are n’t coming in like you hope? Craft and product sights also rely on word of mouth marketing but the bigger sites also utilize other marketing strategies. They often hire an agency to do their marketing and PR on heir behalf. Internet marketing, social media marketing, advertising and PR. Those are all things that can be purchased through an agency. And those are all things that get your site and your business in front of eyes attached to the customers you need.

SEO is something that every single website needs. This helps your site get noticed by the search engines. SEO involves every aspect of your site including proper coding, keywords, images and links. Keywords are what your readers search for in their search engines and ultimately lead them to your site. Without good SEO practices, you might be on page 500 of a search engine when you want to be on page one!

Social media is a GREAT Way to get your site noticed. Sites like Facebook allow you to interact with your customers and readers on a regular and more personal basis. If you aren’t good and social media or if you don’t have time to devote to it, you can hire someone to handle it for you or to walk you through it and instruct you on the best way to go about it.

These are just some of the services that a good marketing agency can provide you. And not all of them are outside a work at home budget. Many have services that are very affordable for every budget. You just have to do some digging and some research of your own before committing.

So, tell me, have you ever utilized the services of a marketing agency? And if not, would you consider it?

Want to Win a $500 Spa Day Giveaway? Check out Manilla with me!

Ok, I’m currently checking out a site called Manilla. I honestly hadn’t heard about it before today but after I did, I was very intrigued and couldn’t wait to learn more and see how it works.

What is Manilla?
Manilla is a free web based service that helps consumers better manage all of their household accounts, including financial, utilities, subscriptions and travel rewards programs, in one secure place online. Under a single password, Manilla provides customers with an automated, organized view of all of their account information, text and/or email reminders to pay bills and unlimited storage of account documents that Manilla has seamlessly retrieved for the consumer.
Why is Manilla necessary? Most people have more than 20 different household accounts, including three to four credit cards, several travel and hotel rewards accounts, multiple magazine and newspaper subscriptions, plus cable, phone, and other assorted utility bills. In order to stay on top of all this, people have to manage daily incoming paper mail, an array of online usernames and passwords, and websites in order to access important account information and take action. Manilla seamlessly retrieves all your account information – current balances, previous payments, upcoming bills due – and stores it for you in one secure place. Most importantly, you need only one password to view, manage and organize it all.

Sounds really cool, right? Right. Another cool thing from Manilla is that after joining, which is totally free, you can enter to win a super fab $500 Spa Day Giveaway! DOUBLE COOL!

So, after you signup for Manilla go here http://www.manilla.com/blogfrog002/  and tell them you signed up for Manilla and share you biggest financial success or failure to be entered to win. Official Rules Here.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Manilla.

WOO HOO! You made it to the bottom of my blog... rock on supa-star!
