I have a marketing question for you. Have or would you consider hiring an advertising agency for your online business/website? As bloggers and product reviewers, we often work directly with PR firms, advertising agencies and marketing specialists. Some even have degrees themselves or, like myself, work in work at home website marketing. But how do we get our own business “out there”?
As bloggers, we rely heavily on word of mouth marketing. But what happens when that is no longer enough and readers are n’t coming in like you hope? Craft and product sights also rely on word of mouth marketing but the bigger sites also utilize other marketing strategies. They often hire an agency to do their marketing and PR on heir behalf. Internet marketing, social media marketing, advertising and PR. Those are all things that can be purchased through an agency. And those are all things that get your site and your business in front of eyes attached to the customers you need.
SEO is something that every single website needs. This helps your site get noticed by the search engines. SEO involves every aspect of your site including proper coding, keywords, images and links. Keywords are what your readers search for in their search engines and ultimately lead them to your site. Without good SEO practices, you might be on page 500 of a search engine when you want to be on page one!
Social media is a GREAT Way to get your site noticed. Sites like Facebook allow you to interact with your customers and readers on a regular and more personal basis. If you aren’t good and social media or if you don’t have time to devote to it, you can hire someone to handle it for you or to walk you through it and instruct you on the best way to go about it.
These are just some of the services that a good marketing agency can provide you. And not all of them are outside a work at home budget. Many have services that are very affordable for every budget. You just have to do some digging and some research of your own before committing.
So, tell me, have you ever utilized the services of a marketing agency? And if not, would you consider it?
