I’m getting old! There. I said it. I’m pushing 40 {shivers} and my skin is beginning to show it. Fine lines, lack of moisture, loss of elasticity, etc. I have all those things and while I don’t mind getting older, it does sometimes make me sad when products I typically use and love no longer look the same on me or work as well. So I look for something new. Especially in the winter months. I tend to use more beauty products in the winter months due to itchy, dry skin. Plus, I don’t sweat it all off like in the summer, so I like to glam up my routine a little.–Taking care of your skin requires a little bit more effort during the winter because the low temperatures can make your skin dry. Also, since you wear more clothes through the winter, you will need to unclog your pores every day to ensure that your skin remains clean and moisturized. Keeping yourself covered up during this season is vital considering that this helps protect your skin from the side-effects of the cold that you will be facing when you go outside.–
More makeup, hair dye, lotions and potions… I love to use them during the winter. But, I’ve found over the last few years that I’ve had to update my skin care routine for winter and just life in general. Stupid wrinkles.

To use it all I have to do is place a small amount on my fingertip and then dot it around my eye area. Don’t get it in your eyes, just dot it on the skin around them and on the eye lid. Instead of rubbing it in, pat it in with gentle pressure. Just pat, pat, pat all around the eye.
It doesn’t really have a smell that I can detect. I’d describe it as fresh and clean. The texture is nice, not too thick, not too thin. It’s not greasy but you can feel it after you’ve rubbed it in. Lotion-y feeling.
What I noticed is that I can feel it working. For me, I notice a light cooling feeling for a few seconds. When that subsides I feel like my skin looks fuller and brighter. I love the way it feels on my skin.
After using it for a week, I’ve noticed that the skin around my eyes looks fuller! Not only are the fine lines diminished but the skin itself looks so much better. At $24.95 it is comparable to other products in price but in my opinion, better in performance.

I mentioned that I also want to stock up on the Night time Moisturizer. It smells incredible! It’s not greasy but it is thick. It rubs in easily and a little goes a long way. When I wake up in the morning my skin isn’t dry and my makeup goes on more smoothly. I’ve also been using it on my hands at night. We use a lot of hand sanitizer when we’re out and about in the winter and my hands really pay for it. Not any more. I’m moisturized!
