The countdown has started! We’re getting ready to head out on a mini road trip in just a couple of days. While the forecast is calling for 60 degree weather, it’s also calling for non-stop rain. BOO! I really hope we get some pretty blue skies for this trip. We had originally planned it for February but “SNOWmageddon the SNOWpocalypse” made us change our plans. I don’t know about you but I am SO ready for some warmer days with blue skies! And a fresher smelling car. The salt on the roads has made a mess on the outside and inside of our car, plus it’s kind of stinky on the inside too.

We tend to eat out on the weekends more during the winter months. And when we do, we eat in the car. I think it’s the fact that we’re cooped up in the house and since it’s too cold to go outside to grill or to play, we get fresh air any way we can. Too bad we’re not eating very healthy. But we are at least beating the winter blues by getting out of the house. With that said, the car is kind of smelly. Even though we toss our trash when we’re done, just eating in the car can make it smelly. Have you noticed that?
