Mmmm, it’s that time of year again y’all: fall. The time of year for hoodies, jeans and boots, bonfires, s’mores, hot cocoa, delicious cinnamon-y baked goods and my family’s favorite fragrances! I simply adore all things fall including the smell of the air. And I love to fragrance our home with those same scents. Febreze makes that so easy to do!

Febreze has a new fall line up of fragrances called their Home Harvest Collection and I am super excited to be able to try some of them out!

The fragrances available for fall include:

  • Toasted Almond
  • Sugared Cranberry
  • Spiced Pear
  • Vanilla Latte
  • Autumn Harvest

I received the following Febreze Home harvest items:

Febreze Home Harvest Collection: NOTICEables

Febreze Home Harvest Collection

  • Febreze plugin in for NOTICEables refills
  • Febreze NOTICEables in Sandalwood/Chai and Vanilla/Sugar
  • Febreze Vent Clips in Toasted Almond

We have 4 kids and sometimes we have to eat on the go. Which means our car gets messy. Plus, Clay is a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter and sometimes his work clothes get super stinky and make the car smell not so nice. I was really, REALLY happy to receive the Febreze Vent Clips.

The Toasted Almond scent smells really nice. The fragrance is nice and strong and because you clip it onto the vent, the smell circulates throughout your vehicle and makes the entire are smell wonderful. I love the look of it. It looks great in any interior and the fragrance lasts us a good month each time. Plus you can adjust the amount of scent it releases.

The Febreze NOTICEables work as an oil plugin. You just insert the fragance combo of your choice into the plugin and then plug it into your wall. You can set the amount of strength you prefer. If you only like or need a little added fragrance, just slide the lever to the lowest setting. I love that. I also love that the plug can be turned so if your outlet is sideways or, like in our house, installed upside down, you can still use it without worrying about the scented oil leaking out.

I keep one of these plugged in all throughout the fall and winter. I keep it on the lower setting during the week and then turn it up on the weekends when we will be having people over. It also lasts us about a month.

Because I have problems with florals and my allergies/sinuses/migraines, I ADORE the fall scents in the Harvest Collection. They combine the nutty, bakery and fruity fragrances that I love and that don’t trigger headaches. They are perfect for me!

My blogger kit that I received not only contained the yummy smelling Febreze Home Harvest fragrances I mention, but it also included several recipes and home decor activities to spruce up my home for fall. Along with the Febreze items I received, I want to show you some of the recipes and ideas that were included.

This entire kit was packaged in the cutest way. It came inside a giant cardboard barn that can also be used to decorate for the fall! It included cute little cutout hay bales, a picket fence, wagon wheel and weather vein. The recipes and activities came in a pretty little recipe box that can be used to store all my fall recipes. I don’t normally post about the packaging I receive items in but this was just too cute not to share!

Febreze should make these available as scent kits for purchase!!!

Ok, have you ever tried sugared cranberries? I haven’t and I”m not typically a fan of cranberries. They are a bit to bitter for me. But I was looking at the photo of them and they just look so good. I think the sugar will really contrast the natural cranberry flavor and give it just the right amount of sweetness. there are recipes for an Iced Coffee Float using coffee and vanilla ice cream, creamed corn and oven baked s’mores.

There is also a recipe for Roasted Pears. My family’s not the biggest fan of pears either (I LOVE them) but the do love apples. So I decided to try this recipe using apples and apple juice instead of the pears and pear juice. It is phenomenal! Here’s what you need:

3 pears (or apples), 1TBSP lemon juice, 1/3 cup pear juice (or apple), 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, roasted pecans and vanilla ice cream. You’ll be baking this in the oven at 400 degrees. Your house will smell AH-MA-ZING!  I’ll put the full instructions in a recipe widget below so you can print it if you’d like.

Along with the recipes there are some fun activities and fall home decor items as well including making coasters out of corkboard and burlap, a burlap bow, cute little owls out of almonds, a whistle from an acorn top and a spiced orange to scent your home.

Home decor items include making a decorative pear from an old lightbulb and some twine, Cranberry Tree using a foam ball, cranberries and Febreze Air Effects, a leaf wreath and even an acorn centerpiece. All of these items are scented using Febreze air Effects to amp up your fall decor with fall fragrance! Have you ever made a tabletop décor tree? I think the Cranberry Tree will be really pretty this Christmas!
