I have been testing a great pair of insoles, OrthoLite Fusion Insoles. At first glance, these may seem like an ordinary pair of insoles. They are thin but mighty! I have a pair of Brumby boots, similar to the more expensive Australian style boots and after years and LOADS of wear they were starting to feel not as cushioned. So I decided to try the OrthoLite Fusion insoles in them instead of a pair of athletic shoes. Everyone knows they work great in athletic shoes but might not realize how they do in other styles of shoes.
Each year, over 100 million pairs of athletic and outdoor shoes are built with OrthoLite as their insole technology. In less than five years, OrthoLite has become the most recognized brand of insole found in all the top brands in the shoe industry.
So I definitely wanted to see how they held up in my winter boots. And they are AWESOME! When I put my boots on, they felt new again! They were super cushion-y and my feet no longer hurt at the end of the day like they did before. They feel great and because they are thinner, they didn’t make my boots too tight like I feared they would. My boots are lined with sheep skin and tend to get very hot even in the winter. The insoles are made with open-cell foam and stated to allow air to circulate around the foot, keeping it cooler. I did notice that my feet feel cooler and do not sweat. My socks are nice and dry when I take my boots off, yet still stayed warm on the cold weather days that we had.
The main part of the insole is very thin and the heel is deep enough to cushion your foot fully. They are just great, all around insoles.
They are available in whole sizes only and can be easily trimmed to fit your shoes.
