Panasonic Mobile Charger Review & Giveaway

I hate it when we are out and about or on the road traveling and my phone battery dies. And my battery life stinks anyway. So it dies on me a lot, usually when I’m looking something up or using the gps feature on my phone to find a cabin or travel location. It’s not too much of a problem if we’re driving. I can just plug into the lighter adapter. But if we’re hiking or walking in Gatlinburg and it dies, I’m stuck with no phone. That’s one reason why I love portable phone chargers! I can charge my phone, iPad, portable speaker, etc. and be good to go.

This item is listed on our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide!

Disclosure: I received a complimentary Panasonic Mobile Charger QE-AL102K for review. All opinions are my own and were formed through personal testing of the product. Your results may vary.

I found one that I really love because it has the extra benefit of also being a rapid charger when charging my phone through the outlet. The Panasonic Mobile Charger QE-AL102K is my brand new travel companion and will be going to Tennessee with us this summer! In fact, I’ll be keeping it in my purse from now on since it is relatively small and portable.

Panasonic Mobile Charger QE-AL102K

The Panasonic Mobile Charger QE-AL102K is a really nice size. It’s about the size of a deck of playing cards so it fits in a purse or bag really well. It has one USB port for charging a device and can be plugged into any standard outlet. All you have to do is charge it up and then it’s ready to charge your device when on the go. Or I can plug it in to the outlet and then plug my phone into it to charge it more quickly.

When using the Panasonic Portable Charger as a rapid charger into the wall and then your device into it. The Panasonic Charger will charge your device quickly and then shut off power to the device while it continues to recharge itself to capacity.

The plug doesn’t rotate but it does adjust to 90° or 180° so you can plug the Panasonic Mobile Charger flat against the wall or lifted out away from it.

Panasonic Mobile Charger QE-AL102K

We had a power outage a couple days ago and I used the Panasonic Charger to recharge my phone. My battery was at 20% and in about 30 minutes I was up to 95%. So it charges pretty quickly.

The light on the device is green when 60%  or more and yellow when it is getting low (approx. 30% – 60%). When it reaches 30% or less, it turns red. When it is charging, it will go from green to off when it is full. I love having a visual indicator that it needs to be charged. It will also blink if there is a failure or overheated cord. There is a built in temperature sensor that lets you know if your device/cord begins to overheat. It will blink orange and stop powering your device. This only works with the included USB.

Panasonic Mobile Charger QE-AL102K Features:

  • Slim, portable AC adapter charges smartphone at home
  • 1880Ah travel battery charges phone anytime, anywhere
  • Single USB port, AC100 ~ 240V input, 1600-charge battery cycle
  • Price: $39.99

I can’t wait to take my Panasonic Charger on vacation this summer. It is really going to come in handy when my device gets low!
