That moment when you get to your travel destination, unpack to get dressed for dinner or going to a quick attraction and realize that every single piece of clothing you brought with you is a wrinkled mess. It sucks. We don’t want to have to drag out an iron and press all our clothing when we’re on vacation. We did that at home! And some cabins, condo’s or hotel rooms may not even have an iron. But there is a little product that you can take with you to remove travel wrinkles with ease! And you can buy it in travel size to save space in your suitcase or carry on bag. That one product? Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus. I’ve written about Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus before but I wanted to do a little update and let you know that there is a brand new fragrance, available at Target. It is Crisp Linen and it smells incredible! I use it in my girls room after they’ve let the dog sleep in there. It totally refreshes the carpet, mattresses and curtains and gets rid of that dog smell until wash day.
I took a travel sized bottle with us to Gatlinburg the 4th of July weekend. It was such a time saver! We had an oscillating floor fan in our room which really helped dry the clothes but even without it, they dry pretty quickly. When we got to our cabin, I got out the clothes that were wrinkled. It was mainly just t-shirts. I put them each on a hanger, sprayed them with the Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus, stretched the fabric, gently and smoothed it out. Then I hung them up to dry, in front of the fan. Again, just hanging them in a closet, on a shower or towel rod or over a chair works fine too.
Our clothes were smooth and wrinkle free! And, they smelled great! I also use it after our trip to refresh our bathing suit bag. The dryer in our cabin wasn’t working well this trip, plus there were 14 of us needing it. So our swimsuits were a bit damp on the return trip home. They soured a little in the bag so when I took them out to wash, I sprayed some Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus in the bag and it freshened it right up! I used the new Crisp Linen Scent and it smelled so good. Clean and fresh like laundry right off the line. I can’t wait to use the bag again just so everything will smell like it!
I can honestly say that Downly Wrinkle Releaser Plus is a product that I always take with us on trips. I keep a travel size bottle in my suitcase and refill it with my larger bottle as needed. Works great, saves time and makes everything smell fantastic!
