Spring is here! We often think of Spring cleaning for our homes and even our automobiles, but what about our bodies? I have two reviews for you featuring WaterPik products that can help get you ready for Spring.

The first product I want to show you is the SinuSense by Waterpik. The SinuSense is a cleanser for your sinus passages. I suffer from HORRID allergies and sinus trouble. Each time I get a cold lately, it develops into a sinus infection. Each and every time. Even though I take daily allergy medication, I still have constant sinus pressure.  To make matters worse, the trees in our front yard bloom a couple of times a year and they make my allergies about a million times worse.  And it is miserable! So, I was super duper happy to try a product that offers to make my sinuses feel better and allergies a bit more tolerable. It is super duper easy to use too. In a simple explanation, you spray a stream of water in one nostril and out the other. Then repeat on the other side. It’s that simple!

The SinuSense Water Pulsator has a blue reservoir on the bottom that you fill with either distilled or tap water and a pack of the saline solution. The white battery powered trigger then locks into place on top. Add one of the two included nozzles. Then place the nozzle into your right nostril. Lean gently over the sink without bending your head and pull the trigger. A stream of water will flow up into your nostril and out the other side into the sink. You will want to keep plenty of tissues nearby because it does flow out pretty quickly. After you’ve finished one side, gently blow your nose and repeat on the other side.

It doesn’t hurt a bit but the first time you try it, there is a bit of discomfort. Not pain, just an unusual feeling like slight pressure because you are flowing water into your nose and out the other side. And unless this is something you practice on a regular basis, it feels WEIRD! But, after you’ve finished, your nasal passages will feel tremendously clean and refreshed. I could breath easier after just the first use! I cant believe how clean the inside of my nose feels.

I didn’t do a video because, really, you don’t want to see me spraying water up my nose. It isn’t pretty, believe me. BUT the photo above shows the stream of water that comes out when you press the nozzle. It is a nice, steady, full stream of water. If you really want to see a video, I will happily do one to show that I did in fact use the SinuSense and love it. I don’t mind at all. In case you want to see a video of how it works, now, you can see on on the WaterPik site here: How to use your Water Pulsator

I like that this is a product I can use every day, twice if I want. And I don’t have to worry about it interfering with my blood pressure medications. It is saline, aloe and eucalyptus so it is all natural. So, if you are looking for a way to control Springtime allergies and give your body a little Spring cleaning, the SinuSense by WaterPik is an option you might like!
