{Expired!} I Love @Shutterfly 2011 Holiday Card’s + #Giveaway! Ends 11-3-11

Ever year, I send out Christmas cards to all our friends and family. I love sending the photo cards because they seem more personal to me. One thing I don’t do, though, is have professional photos made. I always try to get a family photo during our vacation and use that in our Christmas cards. To me, it reflects our family. We aren’t perfect. We are goofy and spontaneous. So I want our photos to reflect that. I love that one member might have a silly smile on their face or one might have their eyes closed. Why? Because that’s us. Perfectly imperfect and happy to be so. I’m not saying that your photos aren’t personal if you choose to have a beautiful professional photo made, I’m just saying that this is how we do ours.

This year, I am using Shutterfly for my Christmas cards and chose the Berry Merry design. I think the colors and the fonts match our style perfectly. And I like that it let me add two photos instead of one. Our son wasn’t in our group vacation shot so I was able to add one of him alone and still have the full family on our card. I like that Shutterfly lets me use our family photos to create a customized photo card. And there are TONS of designs to choose from. They offer so many Christmas cards, I didn’t think I was ever going to be able to decide on a style! I kept scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. Then I saw the Berry Merry Christmas Card and knew it was the one for us.

Cards are not all you can get at Shutterfly though. They also offer calendars and photo gifts which I absolutely love. I think I might start ordering my kids a photo gift at the end of each school year.
