Ingredients
1 3 - 5lbChuck Roastwhichever size will feed your family. We use 3 - 5 pounds for a large family and prefer ButcherBox
1packet Au Ju mix(powdered)
1packet Ranch Dressing mix(Hidden Valley is great)
1/2stick Butterroom temperature - thinly sliced - I prefer salted
1cupBeef Broth
1/2jar Pepperoncini Pepper Juice
6 - 8Pepperoncini Peppers
Instructions
Place chuck roast in large slow cooker
Sprinkle Au Jus packet evenly over roast
Sprinkle Ranch Dressing packet evenly over Au Jus mix
Lay slices of butter evenly over top of roast and dry mixes
Pour beef broth and pepper juice over roast and around edges
Place peppers around edges of roast
Slow cook on low heat for 6 - 8 hours or until roast is cooked through
