This rich, creamy and crunchy recipe is the perfect way to use up all those fall apples! Serve as a party appetizer or dessert and your guests will be begging for more! With a few simple recipe tweaks you can also make this Caramel Apple Crack Dip Recipe sugar free and waist friendly! It is low carb when served with fried low carb tortillas instead of apples.
6Granny Smith applessliced (see notes for other options)
Instructions
In a mixer, combine softened cream cheese, powder sugar and vanilla extract.
Beat until light and fluffy. Approx: 2 minutes.
Spread onto large serving platter.
Top cream cheese mixture with soft caramel dip
Arrange apple slices around cream cheese mixture/caramel.
Sprinkle toffee bits over top, completely covering caramel and cream cheese.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
If you'd prefer to make this in a bowl for easier transporting, simply layer all ingredients in a bowl, starting with the cream cheese, then the caramel and topping it with the toffee bits. Serve apples and other fruit on the side. You can serve it with apple slices, pretzel rods, graham crackers, animal crackers, fried low carb tortillas and, really anything that goes well with caramel and toffee! To keep apples and dip chilled, place serving dish on top of platter or bowl filled with ice. I love this tray!NOTE: To make a Trim Healthy Mama version of this dip (it will be a crossover), simply make this Brooke's 5 Minute Caramel Sauce, substitute the powdered sugar with a 1:1 sugar sub like Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener (powdered) and omit the toffee bits OR top with crushed ChocZero Hazelnut Truffles or peanuts.
