Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup equal parts sugar and water boiled until the sugar dissolves, then cooled
  • Green food coloring a few drops
  • Ice
  • Black sugar OR black food coloring for rimming the glass. You can also use blue, purple or orange.
  • Gummy worms or plastic spiders for garnish

Instructions
 

  • 1. Prepare your glass by rimming it with black sugar or, if you don't have black sugar, by dipping the rim in black food coloring.
  • 2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, orange liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and green food coloring.
  • 3. Add ice to the shaker and shake well to chill and combine all the ingredients.
  • 4. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass, avoiding getting any ice in the glass.
  • 5. Garnish with a few gummy worms or plastic spiders on top of the drink.
  • 6. Serve and enjoy your spooky Witch's Brew cocktail!
