Halloween is upon us and I am super excited! I haven’t decided what my costume will be this year, yet, but I do have a brand new Witches Brew Cocktail for you all. This is a new one in our Halloween Cocktail series, found here.

Witches or witch’s? Is it a brew created by a witch or belong to a witch or by several? I dunno the proper form and really don’t care! I just know this is a delicious, spooky, fun Halloween cocktail and I’m excited to share it with you!

Create this spooky Witches Brew cocktail recipe At your next Halloween gathering!

Witches Brew Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz vodka
1 oz orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
1 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water boiled until the sugar dissolves, then cooled)
A few drops of green food coloring
Ice
Black sugar or black food coloring (for rimming the glass). You can also use blue, purple or orange.
Gummy worms or plastic spiders (for garnish)


Instructions:

1. Prepare your glass by rimming it with black sugar or, if you don’t have black sugar, by dipping the rim in black food coloring.
2. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, orange liqueur, lime juice, simple syrup, and green food coloring.
3. Add ice to the shaker and shake well to chill and combine all the ingredients.
4. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass, avoiding getting any ice in the glass.
5. Garnish with a few gummy worms or plastic spiders on top of the drink.
6. Serve and enjoy your spooky Witch’s Brew cocktail!
