The New Bottle Versus The Old

We headed to the Gatlinburg, Tennessee for a spontaneous weekend getaway this past Friday. I was planning on doing the Biannual Blogathon Bash but Clay came in Friday after work and told me to book a cabin for the weekend. You don’t have to tell me twice! I was ready! But that left me about 15 minutes to pack and get on the road because it takes about 4 hours to get there so I had to hurry.

I stuffed a couple things in the suitcase and didn’t really take time to pack neatly. Needless to say, when we got up the next morning, our clothes were a wrinkled mess. I had remembered to pack the travel sized bottle of Downy Wrinkle Releaser and I am so glad I did! I had this one purple tee shirt that was extremely wrinkled.

I laid each piece on my suitcase, one at a time, sprayed it down with the Downy Wrinkle Releaser and then smoothed it gently with my hands. Then I let it dry and moved on to the next article of clothing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the wrinkles fell right out. This stuff is fantastic! The cabins we stay in do typically offer an iron and ironing board but like I said, I’m on vacation. Who wants to spend all morning ironing everyones clothes. All you have to do is spray the Downy Wrinkle Releaser on, give it a quick smoothing and a few seconds to dry and you’re good to go! SO EASY!

It smells good too. I keep dryer sheets in the suitcase to keep from having that “storage” or “musty” smell. But if you need to give your clothes a little refreshing, like if your cabin has a fireplace or fire pit and you get smoky, this product works perfectly for that as well. It makes them smell fresh and clean. It’s a great odor eliminator.
