It never fails. Every year we have a couple of folks that end up on our Christmas gift list last minute. Some are new family members. Some are just really hard to buy for so we keep putting off shopping. One thing that always works as last minute gift ideas, though, are gift cards.

For some of the folks on our list we get restaurant specific gift cards but there are some that we don’t know their favorite store or restaurant so a Visa or MasterCard gift card is the way to go. With those, your recipient can use them anywhere they want, versus a specific location. So if they want to buy an outfit or put it towards a more expensive item, they can. If they want to use it at a restaurant or the movies, they can. If they need it to help pay bills or buy groceries, they can! And you can find them easily at places like Office Max. In my opinion, gift cards really are the way to go when you need a last minute gift or if you have someone on your list that has it all or is a bit hard to buy for.
