Our oldest daughter is at the age where she loves experimenting with makeup. She and I both love wearing makeup and we love creating bold looks while still being subtle and even a bit natural looking. Yes, it can be done. You can easily create natural beauty looks with a pop of color here and there if you have the right makeup. Some of our personal favorites are the One Direction Makeup Limited Edition Beauty Collection Tins by Markwins. I also love to go a bit bolder from time to time. Like with a smoky eye or a bit of glitter when Clay and I are going out. Make up is a great way to complete an outfit look. But I think it's a  brilliant idea. After all, who know what looks great on and what is most popular with their fans, than the band members themselves?

Eye Shadows:

[/gn_list] I LOVE every one of the eye shadow colors. Each one can be worn alone or blended on the lid for a gorgeous dark eye. The shadows all have great pigment and it only takes a little. I haven't noticed any smudging or settling in creases. The make up washes off very easily but still lasts all day really well. My favorite combo to wear together is the"Same Mistakes" Metallic Mint "Tell Me  A Lie" Metallic Nude Pink for every day make up and a pop of "Summer Love" Smokey Purple Haze at night. The darker colors and the silver are PERFECT for your nighttime looks!

Eye Pencil:

• I Want- True matte black

[/gn_list] The eye pencil goes on pretty well. It is a nice, creamy eye pencil and didn't smudge or rub off. It did wash off easily but didn't seem to smudge during the day. And the true matte black goes with any shadow color.

Lip Gloss:

• One Thing- Frosted pink ice
• Irresistible- Shimmered pearl
• Heart Attack- Creamy rose shine

Lip Gloss Top Coat:

• Over Again- Silver glitter sparkle

[/gn_list] The lip gloss is smooth and creamy and has a nice glossy look on its own. It went on easily without a ton of application. It stayed in place and gave a nice subtle color. When I wanted to glam it up a bit, i added the Lip gloss top coat which has a glittery finish. Both stayed on all day.

Nail Varnish:

• Stole My Heart- Magenta pink shimmer Alive- Multi-coloured glitter flakes

[/gn_list] The Make Up By One Direction Nail Varnish is really pretty and comes in magenta pink. The colored glittered flakes are pretty cool over a natural nail but are REALLY pretty when applied over top the colored nail varnish. I like to do just the tips for a really cool look.

We also received (and will be reviewing) the Make Up By One Direction Rock Me Nail Varnish trio. This set comes with 3 Nail Varnish colors and 3 small glitter pots. I adore the pink color and you can see it in the video above. I painted my nails and did a quick dip in the matching glitter. It looks like pink sugar crystals on the tips of my nails and is so pretty for the Christmas and Holiday season!
