Create A Spooky Space With Classy Halloween Design Trends

I haven’t done a round-up post in awhile. Halloween seems like the perfect time to create one! I love decorating for Halloween but I prefer using a more classy Halloween, yet spooky, look vs. horror styles. Ghosts and goblins, vampires and spiders are right up my alley! I can’t stand yards themed around horror movies. It’s just not my thing. If you love it, then you do you boo. It’s just not for me. (bad experiences as a kid)

Now, you may be thinking: is there such a thing as “classy Halloween” decor? Yes, I think there is. Utilizing fall color schemes along with the traditional sheet ghosts, spiders and bats can create a stunning look to your Halloween decor, without being scary. It’s still on theme and still looks great.

Now, I’m not saying you can’t add a little gore to your decor. But don’t go over-the-top. Stick with some simple designs and you’ll be decorated for Halloween in no time!

Here are a few of my favorite classy Halloween design trends with info on where to find each one. Keep in mind, most of these are from UK stores so be sure you check the shipping info before purchasing.

The classy Halloween examples, above, use mostly orange and black for the design colors. Adding a punch of purple or even blue can really change up the look. I mentioned that you may want to add a touch of gore to your decorations. The following photo shows extra-large eyeball balloons. They are perfect for adding just a little ick-factor while still keeping it on the classy level.
