Foundation brushes have synthetic, tightly packed bristles that give a streak-free finish to cream and liquid formulas. When using a foundation I always like to put it on my hands first, just to make sure I am not over-applying . You can always add more, buts it’s hard to take away.

What it does so well is it puts down a really light dusting product, you can use it for powder, you can use it for Bronzer, I really love using it for Blush though, particularly one that has a lot of sparkle to it. It adds just the right amount, without too much sparkle.

There are virtually dozens of eye shadow makeup brushes out there . I like one that’s really easy to use and multifunctional. You want something with a big dome to put down a single shade of eye shadow, but then I like to also have something thick that can press on the eyeliner and smudge it out as well.

As you can see, you don’t need to own several makeup brushes, especially because many of them can be used for different things, the key is to find the ones you’re comfortable with and use them every day.
