I can’t believe how cold this past winter was. The kids wanted to play out int he snow that we had but it was so cold that they didn’t really get a chance to play in it much. On the days that they did, though, I made sure they were bundled up toasty and warm.

One thing that came in handy for our youngest daughter was her Baby BanZ Ski Banz Goggles.
This item is listed on our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide!
The Baby BanZ Ski BanZ goggles helped protect her eyes from harmful UV rays because they offer UV protection. You may remember me mentioning just how important that is recently in my post about protecting your eyes from UVA/UVB rays. It’s just as imoprtant to protect your kids eyes in the winter as it is in the sunny, summer months. So I like knowing that these goggles will stay on and protect her eyes from harmful UV rays and the cold snow at hte same time. This is great sun protection for outdoor enthusiasts from ages 4 to 10 years old.
The SkiBanZ are available in the following colors:
- Arctic White
- Frostbite (black/white)
- Powder Pink
We chose the Arctic White and they look so nice. I love how crisp and clean they look. They look pretty tough out in the snow! Because they have an elastic band, they stayed in place while she was sledding and playing in the snow. The band is adjustable and I was actually able to adjust them to fit each of our daughters who range in age. So they are versatile enough to fit everyone.
The girls said that the SkiBanZ goggles are really comfortable. There is a foam padding around the edges so they are very soft on the face. There are also little vent holes in the frame so they didn’t have any problems with them fogging up. They could see well with them on and they didn’t cause any irritation around their eyes. I like that they are adjustable so they can loosen them up if they’re too tight.
SkiBanZ goggles are $35 and usually ship in 3 – 5 business days. I have a deal right now through US Family Guide where you can get a free slip case and even a sunscreen sample during checkout.
Even though the kids didn’t get to play outside as much as they’d wanted, at least I know there were products available to help protect their eyes when they did.
