Cosmetics: Repair And Hydrate Your Skin

Even though I really don’t mind getting old, there are days when I hate looking in the mirror. I’m pushing 40. (Too bad I can’t push it out of the way!) My skin is starting to sag a little around my eyes. I’m not one that would opt for cosmetic surgery It’s just not for me. I like to test products for at least 2 weeks to see how my skin reacts and how well they work. The two Valentia products I’ve been testing recently are new:

I’ve used plenty of eye creams and have shared several with you. The True Glow Eye Cream is one that I’ve noticed the most immediate results with. To use you simply pat a small amount around your orbital eye area Don’t get it in your eyes. You just want to gently pat it onto the skin. I’ve been using it once in the morning right before applying makeup.

It tingles! I definitely feel a tingling sensation as it starts to work. I notice that within minutes the skin beneath my eyes and my upper lids look fuller and more plump. The big effect seems to wear off some by evening but my eyes look and feel great throughout the day. After using it for two weeks I do notice some change in the skin around my eyes. The skin is softer and much more hydrated. I don’t have any dryness around my eyes. The skin looks brighter and fuller, not saggy.

The eye cream is silky. It does take some time to get it rubbed into the skin and it feels slightly cool after patting it on. A little definitely goes a long way!

After using the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask I’ve noticed that my face feels super soft and silky. My skin feels younger to the touch because it is hydrated and not dry feeling. That is great considering how much the winter air dries my skin out. Right now, it feels wonderful!

This mask is different from many I’ve used. It is sort of like a gel. When you put it on, you don’t really see it on your skin like you would a creamy mask. Your skin just sort of feels damp. Leave it on a few minutes and then wash it off. It comes off very easily and my skin feels amazing afterwards. It has a glow to it and feels so soft and moisturized.
