Unique Gift Idea For Guys: Jord Premium Wood Watches

I have a really unique gift idea for the guys in your life. Premium Wood Watches by Jord. I’ve mentioned before that my husband, Clay, is a tough guy to buy for. He is a sports fan so I can sometimes get by with something related to that. And sometimes, I just let him choose something for himself and let it be from me. But I don’t want to buy him the same types of things or have him choose his own gift all the time. I like to add a personal touch now and then to let him know how much I love him. But it can be hard because he is PICKY! I was recently contacted to try out a complimentary wooden watch and immediately thought it was an ingenious idea for a gift for Clay.

These premium wood watches have been handcrafted from 100% natural wood and they are absolutely gorgeous. We chose the style Ely in cherry wood. But it is also available in Natural Green & Maple, Black and Maple. I really liked this watch at first glance because it has the date on it along with being able to tell the time.

I bought a new lighting kit and I had a lot of fun photographing this watch so there are several pictures so that you can see it from the front and the back. The wood is so vibrant and beautiful. And just look at the grain!

You can take out links to adjust the size. I hadn’t given it to Clay just yet so my son helped me with the photography by modeling the watch for me. His wrists are really thin so you can see that we were able to remove a couple links to make it fit his wrist. So it is adjustable which is another thing I love. It’s not just a one size fits all band.

The clasp is metal and is really easy to fold over and secure. The face is easy to read. There aren’t numbers on the Ely, only lines marking the 15 minute time marks but it is still very easy to tell time on. It is made very well too. The wood is thick and sturdy. Everything seems to be fit together very nicely.

The face is beautiful and the back of this watch is just as lovely as the front! It is stamped with the Jord logo. You can see the removable links in the photo above as well.

When I showed the watch to Clay, he loved it. He commented on how nice it looks and how unique it is. He mentioned that because this watch is made of wood, and not metal, it would definitely NOT be a watch that he would ever work in. He works as a Sprinkler fitter so construction isn’t the place for a watch like this. He said this will be his “going out” watch”. One he wears on our date nights and when he isn’t working or playing basketball. YAY! He likes it! Loves it actually. SCORE!
