Many of us have been having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep during this pandemic. One thing I do to help is diffuse some oils before bed. Sometimes, I’ll run it a few hours, intermittently, while I’m sleeping, as well. I go to bed before Clay so I’ll turn it on, using the intermittent setting, and then turn it off when he comes to bed. This helps me relax and fall asleep more quickly. One blend that is perfect for this is Dreamtime blend available at Rocky Mountain Oils. This blend is ONLY available while supplies last, so , if you want it, get it quick!

Dreamtime Usage Tips & Recipes:
- Massage into your temples, behind the ears, or on the back of the neck to ease your mind before bed. ALWAYS use with a carrier oil! I like to add 5 drops to a 10ml roller-ball bottle and top it off with fractionated coconut oil . Swirl to mix, add the cap and roll it onto the back of my neck.
- Diffuse at night before going to bed to help relieve stressors so that your mind can sleep and focus on your dreams.
- Add a couple of drops to your pillow or beneath your nose (with carrier oil) before bed to experience Dreamtime’s calming aroma.
Dreamy Bedtime Spray
- 75 drops Dreamtime
- 4 ounces Distilled Water
Add all ingredients to a 4-ounce, fine mist spray bottle. Shake well before every use. Liberally spritz around the bedroom before going to bed. You can refill the water 2-3 times before refilling the oil.
Dreamtime Bath
- 2-3 drops Dreamtime
- 2 teaspoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 1 cup Sea Salts
Add the FCO and Dreamtime to the sea salts, and mix well. Add the sea salt mixture into a warm or hot bath, and allow the salts to dissolve. Soak for 20-30 minutes. Make sure to do a patch test on your skin of the diluted blend to ensure that you do not have a reaction before immersing yourself in the bath.
NOTE: As with any product, supplement, etc, always use with caution and please do research before using! Essential oils are VERY concentrated and some may interfere with certain medications and health conditions. For instance, I have high blood pressure and need to be careful when using rosemary essential oil. So, please, do your research before use and use with caution. With that said, essential oils can be an amazing addition to your health and wellness and natural home.
