Mosquitoes and flies are driving me nuts! Every time I walk out the door I’m swarmed. Living in the woods, bugs are a given so I have to take measures to prevent them from swarming and biting us. Say goodbye to mosquito bites this summer with Rocky Mountain Oils Bug Away! 🦟
Last year, I made and shared a bug repellent recipe that works really well. This year, I’m lazy and want something I don’t have to put much thought into. I haven’t been feeling well this summer so I want to just add oils from a pre-made blend and go. I love using roll-ons and this couldn’t be any simpler. Just add 5 drops of Bug Away to a roll-on bottle, top it off with fractionated coconut oil OR almond oil, swirl to mix, rub on wrists, ankles, etc and you’re good to go.
I prefer to use almond oil in anything going on my face and fractionated coconut oil everywhere else. For this recipe, I just use almond oil so it can go anywhere. Add a label to your roll-on so you know what is inside and then just toss it in your bag so you have it when you need it.
You can also use this blend in place of the oils I used in the DIY Bug Repellent recipe last year. Check that recipe out here and just add 45 drops of Bug Away. If you only need one roll-on, you can also just buy it pre-made here (BOGO for a limited time).
