A dog car seat cover for back seat. Why didn’t I think of this sooner! Our shepherd mix, Millie, hates riding. Anytime you put her in the SUV she tunnels beneath the seats and hides there until the car stops. She scrunches up so far beneath the seats, I don’t see how she fits! This Bulldogology dog car seat cover is amazing! It is incredibly quick and easy to install. You just spread it out over the seats, wrap the straps around the car headrests and snap the ends together. That’s it.

It is waterproof, has a non-slip backing on the bottom, secures onto 2 OR 4 seats with latches, has anchors that go into the back of the seat, protective flaps on the side AND a seat belt leash! OH, and it’s thick and quilted and machine washable! HOO-WEE! That is a lot of features!

The fact that it can be used like a hammock is perfect for traveling with Millie because it blocks her from being able to tunnel under the seats but still lets her feel secure. We put her favorite blanket on the seat and she can hide under it instead of beneath the seat.

It also works perfectly for Jasper because I can attach the car seat leash to his collar and he can’t run back and forth from side to side. He has to stay in one place. This has actually helped a lot with his carsickness. He’s more stationary now and looks out one window versus moving all over the back seat area.

The dog hair is now confined to the car seat cover and not free-floating and being rubbed onto every surface. If I don’t have time to machine wash the cover, I can simply wipe away any dirt with a damp cloth and vacuum the hair up to keep it to a minimum.

I love how thick and quilted the material is. I don’t feel like the dogs will tear it getting in and out of the car. It’s very well made. This dog car seat cover is something I knew I needed but never “knew I needed” if that makes sense? I knew I needed “something” but, until I saw it, I didn’t know exactly what. I did know I didn’t want a crate. A crate would have put them in the very back and they definitely don’t do well there. I wanted Jasper and Millie to be able to face forward and be closer to the front. This way, they are closer to me and feel more secure in the car.

The both ride so much better now! To say I’m thrilled with this dog seat cover is an understatement! I love this thing!
