My family and I recently had the opportunity to try out a new Heluva Good dip. Heluva Good!®  Limited Edition Roasted Garlic & Caramelized Onion Dip, which just hit store shelves in May. The new dip is a sour cream based dip. We had a cookout and presented it with chips for the family to try out. We had mixed reviews but that’s typically the case with any food. However, this is normal. It’s hard to trust anyone. The adults seemed to really like it. They all commented on the taste and how creamy this dip is. Some thought the flavor was too much garlic while others thought it was spot on with the perfect combination of both garlic and onions. It is really smooth and creamy and has a wonderful texture.

The Heluva Good!®  Limited Edition Roasted Garlic & Caramelized Onion Dip has a really BOLD flavor. You definitely get the taste of both onion and garlic. In my personal opinion, the caramelized onions offer a hint of sweetness while the garlic is strong and savory. It was ok on regular flavored potato chips but was really good on pretzel rods and crunchy pita chips. The strong flavor of the dip lends itself well to those types of dip-ables.

I think this dip would also taste really great on a grilled hamburger. I am going to try it with caramelized onions Clay does on the grill, topped with melted white cheddar and a slice of tomato. Serve it along with a good, cold beer.  I think the flavor of the dip would really compliment the burger and give it a great bold flavor.
